The principal.
Travis Olson
Travis Olson is the founder and principal of Headland Safety. He has spent his career working inside industrial organizations, building EHS systems, developing leaders, and helping operations understand and control risk where the work actually happens.
His experience includes chemicals, plastics and life-sciences equipment manufacturing, and other complex industrial environments. He has led EHS across multi-site operations in the United States and Europe, with responsibility spanning corporate governance, site execution, environmental compliance, incident learning, management systems, leadership development and organizational integration.
That experience shaped the operating philosophy behind Headland: centralize the system and decentralize execution. Organizations need clear standards, useful tools and reliable safeguards, but the people closest to the work also need the capability and authority to recognize changing conditions and respond intelligently.

Specialist network
Some work requires a licensed engineer, a certified industrial hygienist, or a process-safety specialist. Headland does not perform that work and does not pretend to.
Where a project needs it, Headland will either refer the client directly to a qualified specialist, subcontract one who owns the technical deliverable, or coordinate the overall project while the specialist retains responsibility for their own scope. Which of the three applies is stated in the scope of work.
